I am an American financial advisor based in Valencia, Spain, and I work exclusively with US citizens and green card holders living in or moving to Europe.

Before moving abroad I spent more than ten years in US financial services, including two years at Morgan Stanley and over five at JP Morgan, where I worked as a Private Client Banker, Senior Home Lending Advisor and Financial Advisor. That background is the reason my practice looks the way it does. I know how American custodians, accounts and paperwork actually behave, and that is most of the battle when you are running a US financial life from a European address.

My clients tend to arrive with a familiar set of problems. A 401(k) still sitting with a former employer. A brokerage account that has been restricted since they updated their address. A tax position that two advisors, one on each continent, each describe as somebody else's department. I do that work in one place.

I live in Valencia with my wife and our six-month-old son, Luke. Before he arrived I spent most of my free time diving, spearfishing, skiing and cooking. These days the cooking is winning.
